Power Press-pack Silicon Resistors

”Press-pack” design allows:

  • to minimize stray inductance (<3nH);
  • to use uniform system of cooling with press-packed semiconductor devices (diodes, thyristors, etc.);
  • to increase reliability and to decrease the dimensions of high power, high frequency generators, drivers;
  • to increase the specific power (over 10 W/cm3): 5÷6 times higher than in common used resistors;
  • to achieve low values of the thermal resistance for the structure "resistive element-to-case";

Press-pack resistors may be used in all kinds of electronic, electrophysical and measuring equipments:

  • power supply systems for various sorts of powerful high-frequency generators and lasers;
  • powerful converters of energy and frequency;
  • electrical control circuits (drivers);
